Will Dianthus Flower Again. As new growths emerge new blooms will appear. Trim stems at the center of the plant to encourage bushier growth.
I love it Will grow in succession next year. They bloom best when given plenty of sun but they dont like the high heat of mid-summer. Any suggestions for making the flowers stand up straight.

Mar 30 2021 As plants fade out of bloom pinch or cut off the flower stem below the spent flower and just above the first set of full healthy leaves. Dianthus tends to produce numerous leaf-filled stems not all of which produce flowers. But it made great bunches and bouquets I would grow again if it always bloomed so late. And have a beer.
