Apr 24 2018 Heliconia rostrata comes in the shape of a herbaceous perennial originally born in Bolivia Peru Colombia Costa Rica and Ecuador and naturalised in Puerto Rico. Heliconia genus Heliconia the only genus of the family Heliconiaceae with nearly 200 species of flowering plants in tropical America and certain islands of the western Pacific. It includes all eight plant families in the order Zingiberales.

To fill just pour bird seed into the top petal and watch as it funnels down into the red petal troughs below.
