Alyssum Without Flowers. Its a charming plant but not very long blooming. Some plants do not need to be deadheaded.
Great garden flower but it stops blooming if you dont shear it back. The name of this flower alyssum comes from the Greek and means without madness Sweet Alyssum was once added to bouquets to signify forgiveness apology or otherwise request an end to hostilities. The alyssum saxatile is the most common species in our gardens.

Snipping is more surgical and takes more time but the plant will never be without flowers for more than a day or two.
